This winter has been like no other that i can remember. I will fully admit that my memory isn't what it used to be either, but it seems like we've had a lot more snow than we have for years. It seems that generally speaking there is one maybe two big storms a year that dump enough snow in the valley's to really play in and enjoy. But this year there have easily been 8. So i know i've already posted some pictures from past snow days and the fun we've had in them, but since we have another storm or two or three since then i figured i'd post a few other pictures. And these are just the amounts from one storm.
I was a little worried the branches on the tree would snap from the weight of the snow. They didn't, but you can see how heavy this particular snow was.
Ryan came out and helped me shovel the walk after ethan and sam went off to school. It was still snowing so you can only partially see that i had shoveled the driveway. I know, i know, the saying goes: "shoveling the walk like it's still snowing, is like cleaning your house while you're kids are still growing." It's just easier to shovel small amounts 2 or 3 times rather than 4-7 inches all at once.

Christmas afternoon when all the gifts were open, there was new snow to play in, 4 wheeler in the garage, and new sleds to take a ride on. Boys will figure out something to do.
